Social media marketing testimonial.

Since discovering twitter back in 2012 i acknowledged its ability to relay information on the go and became an active user of this social network sharing and recieving information simultaneously since as a communication student i am required to understand things happening around me . So sometime back last year,(2014) my friend called me and told me about this company that wanted us to help out in marketing a product they had just recently launched into the market,at a fee ofcourse. We did the job,basically tweeting about and tweetpic-ing the product,the company had clearly understood the potential social media held in advertising,our campaign went on for three days and was a success. That was the starting point and from then on the jobs started comming in,we even moved from simply advertising a product,to notifying the public about initiatives and what they set to achieve,diversifying my knowledge of consumer and audience behaviour. This has enabled me to be an even more effective communicator,knowing WHATto say, WHEN to say it, WHY to say it,and HOW to say it for my communication to be as effective as possible. As a communication student it has enabled me to put into practice what i have learnt in class making me an even better communicator.Understanding the specifics and details of the communication process is vital for effective and dynamic communication in this digital era especially where your message may even be limited to 140 characters. I have learnt to be creative, clear,concise,concrete and credible in how i share information.
